Title:  System Administrator 4

 

Location:   Wilsonville, OR

 

Job Description:

This position will provide technical expertise and support as part of
the Engineering Services Department at Mentor. As a member of the
Storage Services Team you will be responsible for providing Level 3
technical support globally for the storage infrastructure.
Responsibilities will be to provide day-to-day support of services for
the Engineering Data Center and storage services in Wilsonville OR. 

Requirements:

*	BS in Computer Science (or equivalent experience and
certifications) 
*	7-10 years of Unix System Administration experience in a large
environment. 
*	5 years experience with various storage devices and Tape
Libraries. 
*	Experience with UNIX tools and protocols (DNS, NIS,DHCP, LDAP). 
*	Must have excellent scripting skills in Perl, Shell, or
equivalent. 
*	Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills. 
*	Able to work well both independently and as part of a
cross-functional team. 
*	Detail oriented and organized. 
*	Excellent time management skills. 
*	Good customer service and communication skills (oral and
written).
*	Ability to multi- task and provide quality deliverables. 
*	Experience with project management, change control and
documentation skills a plus. 
*	Knowledge of Network Appliance storage a plus.
