EasyStreet Online Services is looking for a short term contractor to
assist with migrating several hundred PHP based websites to our shared
platform. 

 

We have a new customer that wants to migrate 230+ websites to our Shared
Linux platform. We are looking for someone who can come in and migrate
the websites off of their current web server to ours. 

 

Domains: 430

Websites: 230

MySQL DBs: 80

 

You would be responsible for migrating all file and DB content to new
systems, updating code for new DB credentials, fixing any broken code
and ensuring that the site works before DNS is updated to point to the
new servers.

 

You will also be responsible for managing the migration of 1300+ IMAP
mailboxes. This process is mostly automated, but will require someone to
monitor it throughout. 

 

Skills required:

Web development: HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL

Experience managing Apache (knowledge of mod_rewrite a must)

Intermediate Linux admin

 

Duration: 3-4 weeks

Full time

Work onsite at EasyStreet

 

Please reply to this RFQ with an estimate of what you would charge. We
will select the contractor by 12/12/08, the project will start shortly
thereafter. If project exceeds the stated timeline compensation can be
renegotiated.
