My direct client is searching for a Linux Firmware Engineer to design
and develop their next generation products. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Responsible for design and development of leading edge software
solutions

* Upgrading existing product lines

* Position will require a creative, self-motivated individual with past
success meeting product development goals working in both an independent
and team member environment 

 

Qualifications:

* BSEE or BSCS degree required

* 5+ years development experience in the following:

-Embedded Linux experience

-Embedded systems development in C/C++/Assembly

-RTOS design

-Gnu cross-platform tools

-Understanding of LAN protocols, including TCP/IP,UDP

-Experience with I/O hardware

 

Desired experience:

-Hardware design experience

-Linux low-level kernel, networking, and device drivers is desired.

-Experience with SNMP, RPC, SSH, and web technologies such as XML and
AJAX a big plus
