Years of Experience & Expertise Level: Three to five years experience with
Linux System Administration

Project Description:
Candidate will be responsible for the system administration of ~55 Linux
servers performing backups, software builds, updates, hardware upgrades, and
general maintenance.

Daily Responsibilities:
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Maintaining a consistent and reliable server environment
- Troubleshooting issues found with the servers and working with development
engineers to resolve
- Hardware configuration
- Linux servers software and administration
- Familiarity with management and monitoring software
- Network configuration
- Executing regular backups and performing restores if required
- Maintaining and monitoring all OTC mailing lists
- Assisting web developers in migrating domains, websites, bugzillas,
mailing lists as needed
- Troubleshooting web issues and working with others on the team to resolve
them 
- Documenting processes and procedures

Necessary Skills (Must Have ALL):
- Linux System Administration experience in a networked environment
- Bash shell scripting
- Familiarity with continuous build processes
- TCP/IP networking
- Knowledge of Fedora/Ubuntu
- Knowledge of postfix/sendmail; rsync; mailman administration
- FTP server support and maintenance
- Knowledge of various source control tools: Subversion, Git, gitorious

Additional Skills Desired (Nice to Have):
-Familiarity with managing a software build system
- Ability to troubleshoot/create Python* build scripts
- Python scripting
