*DBA & Aspiring Ruby Dev.*

Portland company seeks experienced database administrator with Ruby
programming chops.  This is a full-time (40 hrs per week) in-office position
with benefits.

*Qualifications:*
You are in the Portland Area, or willing to re-locate here.
3+ years experience with database administration (MySQL, MySQL Cluster)
Experience building high-performance, high-availability schemas that scale
Experience with various replication topologies (master-master, master-slave)
Experience with partitioning, load balancing, and indexing
Experience tuning MySQL system configuration and queries
Experience benchmarking, analyzing, and improving schemas
Experience with ActiveRecord
U.S. citizenship

*Bonus points:*
Experience with other large-scale storage solutions (esp. Cassandra)
Programming and test-driven development experience with Ruby/Rails
Experience with Sphinx
