I have an amazing opportunity for a Dev Ops professional to join a growing, successful start-up and take their infrastructure to the next level.  Portland candidates are preferred but I am open to Pacific Time Zone candidates who can occasionally travel to Portland, OR.



Skill Set


True Devops... close collaboration with developers and a deep understanding of a RoR application
Ruby coding experience
Automated cloud-based deployments -- Chef/Puppet/etc. on Rackspace/Amazon EC2/etc.
You will work with an existing Chef set-up
Agile experience
Pair programming experience is nice to have
Experience with MySQL is very nice to have
Nagios, Ganglia, git and Redis are tools that are used
