My Portland, OR client has an immediate opening for a DevOps / Web Operations Engineer (1+ year contract, potential contract to hire)





I am looking for a systems engineer who can take charge of deploying and verifying web application releases



Puppet or Chef experience is nice to have - the desire to automate (Perl, Ruby, Puppet code DSL...)



Strong Unix/Linux



Experience supporting Java is nice to have



The right candidate will understand DevOps concepts and be ready to help automate the heck out of 600+ servers
