My name is Alyssa and I represent Epitec, a top tier IT staffing firm based in Southfield, MI. We have a Software Engineer position available with a client in Portland, OR. This is a contract position with potential for direct hire. 

This person will develop and ensure requirements are met with regard to the GUI framework and graphical elements as well as develop concept and ideas to show on a Linux based POC platform.  Candidates must have experience writing C++ code for Linux and installing/integrating the code into Linux. Candidates must also have proven development experience on Linux platforms and experience with open source tools. This person will be working with Linux graphic frameworks including X-Windows (X11) and Wayland.  Experience with JavaScript/HTML is highly preferred.
