I have a one-off project if anyone is interested in taking it on. I want a
keyboard emulator. It should be programmable, and be able to emulate any
key or combination of keys that I can find on any keyboard. A configurable
rate would be neat too. I want the computer I plug it into to believe it's
just your average run-of-the-mill USB keyboard.
I'm told that one of the popular project kits like Teensy or Arduino should
have most of the necessary pieces available. I don't really care how it's
done. I don't want any effort put into pretty-fying it, that's completely
irrelevant to my needs.
I imagine someone out there could throw something together for me with
little effort, whereas it would be a long journey for me. If anyone has any
construction or mechanical needs I could help with, I'd be happy to do a
trade or partial trade.
