To support our growth, we are hiring an additional *Technical Support Engineer* (TSE) who brings an eagerness to learn, a love of coding and data, and a successful track history of customer service, taking ownership to provide technical solutions to our customers. *What You?ll Be Doing* Reporting to the Support Manager, your focus will be to understand, communicate and resolve complex web & data situations from initial contact to resolution, while delivering world-class customer support to a wide spectrum of users. You?ll own current and future Zendesk support operations, troubleshooting customer websites by inspecting data transfer, third-party javascript integrations, and web network requests. In this role, you?ll read and write SQL-like languages to extract and manipulate data in our platform, partner with our other technical teams to identify bugs and software improvements, and write documentation, knowledge base articles, and tutorials to improve our customer experience. In addition, you?ll participate in the QA process of current and new products/services, and contribute to the development of our internal support tools and account management system. Qualifications *What We Must Have* - 2+ years in a Technical Support role, including debugging HTML, CSS, and Javascript. - Applied knowledge of Linux and/or Mac OS X command line. - Understanding of relational databases and experience writing basic SQL. *What?d Be Nice to Have (but not required)* - BS in Computer Science or related field. - Familiarity with at least one server-side language (i.e., Go, Python, PHP, etc.). - Experience using Zendesk or similar system. - Experience building REST API queries for troubleshooting. To support our growth, we are hiring an experienced *DevOps Engineer* to ensure the scalability, quality, and reliability of all of our backend services. *What You'll Be Doing* In this role, you?ll work with the Platform team to design, document, implement and improve service deployment and monitoring systems, along with designing scalable solutions and planning for capacity. You?ll develop strategies for improving application security, as well as help manage system deployments and service migrations. Deployment pipelines, metrics and visibility, and systems management will take the majority of your time, helping to power a large-scale distributed stream processing system. *Our Tech Stack* Lytics? backend is in Go, and we use Kubernetes and Google Cloud Platform for deployments. Salt is used for system management and BigTable, ElasticSearch and Redis for storage. We use stream processing systems similar to Spark and Storm.
