Hello all,

I have an older website htp://qorvus.com that's currently hosted on a 
VPS at Hostgator. The underlying WP brochure-ware and LAMP back-end code 
code works fine but is so old that it breaks under the latest versions 
of MySQL & PHP. As a result I'm trapped and can't move to a lower priced 
hosted server environment without rewriting and updating a bunch of old 
code that I don't have the chops to upgrade (the guys who wrote it are 
long gone). So, I am looking at the following two options: (a) hosting 
my own server here that has the older versions of PHP/MySQL so that the 
code will run more or less as is or (b) rewriting the back-end code so 
it's compatible with the latest LAMP environment, thereby allowing me to 
move it to a current generation (cheaper) hosting option.

Also there's a lot of old cruft, junk image files etc. that it would be 
nice to get cleared out.

Since my website doesn't get a lot of use I'm more inclined toward the 
first option, but would consider either. And I'm looking to hire a 
consultant to implement whichever option we choose. If you're qualified
