A terrible waste.  I wrote a longer post on the subject to another mailing
list earlier today.

We've been discussing him off and on since his disappearance in January.

I kept expecting him to show up with a great story to tell.  (Not exactly
an adventure in the world, but in his mind.)

I honestly don't think I've been as hard-hit by the death of a stranger in
my life.
