I was also a little unclear on who he meant to refer to, but for the
record, I usually go by Russell rather than Russ.  Sometimes others
shorten it to Russ and I usually don't hear the different if they are
clearly referring to me, but I can't remember the last time I called
myself Russ (probably a couple of decades at least).  

The only thing that ticks me off a little is when people get the wrong
number of L's on the end.
