Also, the Motorola RAZR allows the user to tweak its network-seeking
behavior. You can select how often the phone should search for
available networks, what band(s) to use, and whether it should even be
doing all this automatically (i.e., you could manually pick which
available network you want it to use).

Of course, I wouldn't be surprised if the presence of that feature is
carrier-dependent.
