   Thanks, Michael. I've known for years that my handset choice was limited
to what they had made for them, but I always found something that worked
for me.

   On the SIM card issue, I have that with my satellite phone and it's come
in handy once or twice when someone asked to borrow my phone and used his
own account card. Having all information on a removable card is a great
idea: keep it in your wallet and it doesn't matter if the phone is stolen;
move around in hardware with no issues (e.g., built-in car phone and
portable one).
