Since 1883 anyways. Oh, and you *can* get them in a military brown,  
too, if you have a reason (such as military service).

Back on topic, my new Cricket SLVR L7 has been annoying me enough  
that I'm tempted to brick it.

Not as in "take the risk of damaging it", just pounding the daylights  
out of it with, uhm, a brick.

While I don't have the aforementioned cables, I'd certainly  
appreciate hearing about decent experiences with successful phone  
modifications...
