I was afraid of that.

Don't fix what ain't broke.

I have always liked the default filter used by Gramofile. I discovered
that Gramofile will happily "find tracks" on any .wav file (duh - didn't
think of that before), so I'm recording with Audacity to use their speed
change filter, exporting as a .wav, then processing with Gramofile.
Still a few scratches, but I can live with them.
