[PLUG-TALK] Open source cell phones?

It seems to me that you wouldn't really need to hack the firmware. You could
do this with an application written for the phone. Any smartphone should
have the combination of features available to make this work.

That said, there are things like the GP2X that can be made to connect to
cell networks and are fully hackable.
