I am sitting here in the upstairs bedroom at my in-laws, connected
by wireless from my laptop on the desk to the access point in the
basement. I was getting lousy reception.
Then I checked the desk drawer. Full of paperclips. I moved them
to another drawer, and I have 40dB more signal.
Sometimes it's the little things. In this case, the little halfwave
resonators, acting as radar chaff.
