My old Windows server is named pane (pronounced: pain), but as I said 
it was well behaved. I liked the naming scheme, however, so the new 
one is porthole -- which isn't a bad name, but people hear it as 
"portal."

Naming hosts is one of the joys of being a small-shop admin. :-)
