You are NOT a Christian. Christ clearly does not condone homosexual
activity. I said good riddance to homosexuals who claim to be married,
I didn't say good riddance to all homosexuals. Read Leviticus closely
before claiming to be a Christian while at the same time claiming
to support those who engage in homosexual behavior.
Oh, But I *AM* a Christian, I am also a Protestant, I am a Lutheran
of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod. We must never
say "Good Riddance" to anyone. Jesus wants us all, Remember?
God does not see a difference between Homosexuality and
Fornication or Adultery. it's all sin. Jesus loves us whether we sin
or not. he'd prefer we not sin, but still he loves us.
There are no mortal or venal sins, they are all the same.
The bible isn't the only source of material that argues with the
idea that homosexual activity should be permissible. There is
evidence, scientific evidence, that homosexual behavior puts the
people involved at greater risk of contracting disease than those
who don't engage in homosexual activities.
There is homosexual behavior amongst animals. not always prevalent,
but it is there.
I stand by my good riddance comment. It doesn't make me a homophobe
nor does it scare away people who are serious about being Christians.
Yes it does.
Being Christian, following Christ, means that you accept His teachings
on how to behave sexually and on what marriage is. Marriage is defined
in genesis as being between 1 man and 1 woman. Homosexual activity is
banned in Leviticus.
The Christ Jesus came to free us from the law. Why are you still following
levitical law?
The bible is clearly against homosexual behavior, why are you ignoring
it?
Do not confuse my stance of supporting homosexuals with homosexuality.
I don't want sin. but I still want homosexuals to come to the Lord.
You said "Good Riddance" to them. Good to see the Catholic Church
so all encompassing.
