The church looked the other way on homosexuality and ended up with
gay priest pedophiles.  The church paid for letting disordered
individuals serve in sensitive places where they had access to
children. Levitical law was not erased by Jesus Christ, especially
as it pertains to homosexuality, it is still valid.  The sex
scandals and bankrupt diocese prove that Levitical law in regards
to homosexuality is still very much in force.

You obviously didn't look at all the links.  The New Testament
doesn't need to discuss homosexuality much because the Old 
Testament covers it.  The old Testament was not done away with,
it was fulfilled.  There is a huge difference between doing
away with a body of law and tradition and fleshing it our more.
The law of love doesn't replace the Ten Commandments, it 
summarizes them.  Some rituals have gone away, but not the 
prohibitions on homosexual activity.

Sodom was destroyed because of the homosexual activity occurring
there by the very God that you claim has no problem with 
homosexuality.  God wouldn't have destroyed Sodom because of
homosexuality only to approve of such activities later.  Read
the Catechism of the Catholic Church if you think homosexual
activity is approved of today.  Conservative Jews, Catholics,
Baptists, and Muslims in general are opposed to homosexual 
activity.  Expecting God to approve of homosexuality activity
at all is expecting Him to be a hypocrite.

The Catholic church got hurt, severely sued in fact, for 
trusting homosexuals.  So don't ask me to approve of a
lifestyle my christian faith is opposed to in the name
of equality or anything else.

BTW:  Archaeologists have found what's left of Sodom.  That story
        about it's destruction is a true story.

How many victims of sex abuse, abuse at the hands of homosexual 
priests, have left the church?  How many victims do there
have to be before the church can oppose homosexual activity?
How many diocese have to go bankrupt?  I say that 1 victim is
1 too many.
