[PLUG-TALK] Feeding the Troll

As someone who fed the troll, I am partly responsible for the result. 
I'm sorry that I did so - and ask your forgiveness.  I need better
self-control, but until then, this stanza goes in my .procmailrc file:

I still have a problem - I get my plug-talk mail digested,  so that
it is easier to handle and store (I use mutt, btw).   Hence, I don't
want to read or store those digests split.  But that means that the
digests will occasionally be sprinkled with troll shit, which I 
might not be wise enough to ignore.  What to do?

I suspect the best thing is to write an inline Perl filter that
pattern matches the From header down to the next digest split,
and removes it.  Perhaps somebody here already has, or can quickly
write, such a filter;  it probably consists of a multi-line string
replacement and may fit in a one-liner. 

While this approach only takes care of one troll, that is all I feel
the need to deal with for now.  Sometimes I am irked by other posts,
but those individuals are also contributors, so I can put up with an
occasional thorn if the fruit is abundant.

Again, my apologies.  I am proud that plug and plug-talk are open
lists, available to all, even if that includes abusers.  The fact
that signal-to-noise ratio is so high, even with the occasional
troll spew, says a lot for the rest of you.
