I don't have any Comcast digital experience, but I do have experience
with two other digital service providers now, Dish Network and Verizon
FiOS.  In both cases, the time it takes to change the channel is
*significantly* degraded over old analog tuners.  This seems to be the
case regardless of standard or high-definition channels.  The flip
side to this is that I almost never channel surf anymore - I use the
programming guide instead, something not available to me when I had
analog cable.
