[PLUG-TALK] Larry Lessig for Congress?

Folks, 

In '08, there was talk about Larry Lessig, legal powerhouse of the open
source movement, running for Congress.

He would have been a candidate in CA's then vacant 12th congressional
district, which essentially covers part of SF through San Mateo.

Turns out the lady elected to that seat in '08 (Jackie Speier) seems
ready to move on, apparently to run for Attorney General in California.

So this may be another opportunity to get a key player of the open
source community into Congress. Any thoughts? Anyone have contact info
for Lessig, or the people who tried to draft him in '08?
