I think you have Autolite and Champion reversed there.
 
Autolite made Chrysler plugs until Chrysler bought Champion. Motorcraft plugs
were a reboxed Autolite. May still be, but it's hard to prove. As I recall,
Champion started as a division of the Dodge motor company, and Chrylser acquired
Champion when they acquired Dodge.
 
When I worked for NAPA and Schuck's, the story was that most plugs came off one
of three lines, and the only real difference was the ink on the insulator.
That's probably changed since the introduction of all the specialty plugs.
 
That being said, everyone has their favorites. I'm a Ford guy, have been all my
life.
