[PLUG-TALK] Mid-Valley Broadband

There is a two-man bucket truck crew from Mid Valley Broadband
blocking the driveway to my house to get access to the power pole.
Mid Valley is a contractor for Comcast. The guy on the ground
is poking around with his insulated hook pole - he came within
a few inches of the power wires a minute ago. The guy up in
the bucket was banging on the Comcast cable, 3 feet below the
power wires, with a hammer. WTF?
Now the truck is backing down the street as the bucket guy
looks at the cable. The bucket snagged on the loop feeding
my Frontier (nee Verizon) FiOS feed, the next cable tier down
the pole. Fortunately, he cleared it before it yanked loose.
As much as I dreaded the sale of Verizon FIOS to Frontier,
not known for their technically adept support, I'm glad I
don't have Comcast.
