Those connections are not used very often, so everybody using that room subsequent to the epoxy suppository would be safer. From the looks of the picture, it would be relatively inexpensive to design a replacement cover for the lower half of the lock, without the access port, or with a port accessible through a key. Of course, the question remains, will the company that produced the lock do that?
