Keith,
Key Bank. While I cannot speak about all their officers, the one I started
with at the Troutdale office is outstanding. The bank itself seems a bit
more customer oriented than others with whom I've had accounts. Recently,
Key was offering $200 if you opened a checking account there; the offer may
still be available.
I moved my business and personal accounts there three years ago and have
absolutely no complaints. When an employee of the check printing company
printed a few extra of my business checks and forged them payable to him,
Key Bank's fraud department caught it before I did. My banker worked with me
to close that account and open a new one and the bank provided a new box of
checks for me.
While the bank is cutting staff the folks who work at my branch go out of
their way to resolve any issues that come up. For example, a few weeks ago
the ATM machine refused my business ATM card. I went into the branch and my
banker got on the line, had me try a few things, and their back office
determined the problem was in their server. They set a new ATM PIN and had
me go back to the machine and reset it to what I want. That's service!
HTH,
Rich
