Hmm. I have had a Wells Fargo College Checking account for about seven
years. I always get a paper statement, and have not heard anything
about Wells Fargo discontinuing them.
I use it for business. It's just in my name and there is no indication
on the free checks or debit card that it is a college checking account.
After about four years I had to speak to the manager because I started
getting notices that I needed a different account since I was "about to
graduate." I keep a fair sum in the account, so the manager said "I can
fix that." The notices stopped and life goes on.
