[PLUG-TALK] Driving in Cities: How Ants Commute

At yesterday's clinic Keith shared his idea for the ultimate connection in
the 'Internet of Things': automated grappling hooks that would extract
vehicles from highway overpasses and plop them into available spaces on the
highway at the speed traffic is moving. One hopes, of course, that the OS
controlling such a system is not a version of Windows.

To further planning, ideas might be extracted from this article on how
ants commute: <http://tinyurl.com/lqpqah9>. They apparently do not exhibit
road rage and are not known to talk or text on cell phones. Perhaps a
solution to commuting issues is to equip drivers (or their vehicles) with
pheromones, sensors, and response systems.
