Headline in today's NY Times: "Koch Brothers Will Budget $900 Million for
2016 Election."
It would be great if there was a requirement that all politicians (at all
levels of government) wear logos of their sponsors, just like NASCAR drivers
do. The pols would not be required to wear coveralls or jump suits, business
suits would do just fine. But, major sponsors as well as those for specific
legislation would have logos of appropriate size velcro-ed to the suits so
they are prominantly displayed. No sense having the logos sewn on, they
change too frequently.
This would let those who do not follow the news know whose politician
they've elected. Let it be said that we have the best government that money
can buy.
