[PLUG-TALK] 10 hour movie of paint drying

[Keith Lofstrom]

The British Board of Film Classification rates and
classifies movies, but unlike the advisory MPAA, it
is illegal to screen movies or sell DVDs in the UK
without their approval. Filmmakers are required
to pay ₤ 101 plus ₤ 7.09 per minute of footage.

Subversive British filmmaker Charlie Lyne objects.
He raised ₤ 5936 through Kickstarter, and made the
10 hour long film "Paint Drying", thus forcing the
censors to sit through it. You can see the film
(or possibly a plagarism) on youtube:

I suggest watching a few minutes near the end, while
imagining British censors squirming in their soiled
undergarments, having lost the battle for continence
hours before.

Keith

P.S. One British pound ( ₤ ) is $ 1.4227 as I write
this. The exchange rate was locked around $4.75
from 1791 to 1941, and has eroded since.
