Humm, my Aunt works for a local TV network.
Apparently they are letting go a lot of the techs
running the cameras, etc. I think that's why you
see the anchors/hosts holding large 'remotes'
so that they can run the cameras remotely.
Its just another sign of the decline of broadcast
TV.
