   OK. That makes good sense.

   It continues to be the default boot loader in Slackware. And, since it
works when available I've not seen any reason to change.

   Probably, since I can boot from the distribution disk. I've no idea what
setting to change as the screen resolution is the generic default not
dependent on any particular screen size.
