I used Humbrol enamel model airplane paint applied by a disposable
technical pen (I used to buy cheap disposable early 20th century technical
pen heads for PCB drawing) ages ago. It did not last long, but I would fix
it as needed ... Bonus point - it looks as good as you can draw it and you
can chose from all sorts of colors.
I do realize this is little off topic ...
For all the Thinkpad and small keyboard lovers out there (or if you have
mouse pain from avoiding the numpad), there is this gem:
https://www.amazon.com/Lenovo-ThinkPad-Compact-Keyboard-TrackPoint/dp/B00F3U4TQS
I had no idea this exists, until I saw this at my colleague's desk about
month ago. If the quality is like any other Thinkpad keyboards - good luck
wearing those keys down.
