I am in need of an APC-approved serial or USB cable for my SmartUPS 1500. I've used it manually for years and could never get the automatic shutdown functioning via apcupsd. Now I know it's because I do not have the proper cable. If you have an unused one and are willing to donate or sell it please let me know. Rich
