Tomas,

To clarify: I had Verizon Wireless (and Airtouch Cellular before Verizon
bought them years ago) until this past March. Then I switched to AT&T
through the MVNO Beast Mobile. We went from CDMA to GSM, with new phones: a
Nokia 6.1 Plus and a different iPhone6 because AT&T said the existing 'World
Phone iPhone6' would not work on their network despite supposedly
accommodating both CDMA and GSM. (I think it was the set of frequency bands
that was the problem).

The fluctuating signal strength (which is intermittent, not constant)
happened with the Treo700p on Verizon Wireless and continues with the Nokia
6.1 Plus on AT&T.
