[PLUG-TALK] BP class action suit, COVID, WHO

I just got a $94.42 check from the Scharfstein V. BP class
action suit, punishing BP/ARCO for not properly disclosing
a 35 cent debit card fee. I don't think much of BP/ARCO,
but I also haven't driven for years, so this windfall is
undeserved, and for me unneeded.
So ... I will cash the check, and write a $300 check to the
World Health Organization COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund:
https://www.who.int/emergencies/diseases/novel-coronavirus-2019/donate
... to make up for another BP (Butthead Politician)-in-chief
witholding the US contribution to WHO this year.
The BP Foundation donated a mere $2M to the WHO fund.
I will "thank" BP/ARCO by challenging them to match my
contribution, and similar contributions that other
Portlanders make with their own BP lawsuit windfalls.
I'm only 50% pleased with WHO's handling of COVID-19,
but that is one order of magnitude better than my opinion
of BP/ARCO, and two orders of magnitude better than my
opinion of the US BP-in-chief.
