While poking around I found fastestvpn.com. They support Linux by
having you set up openvpn. They have tutorials:
https://support.fastestvpn.com/tutorials/linux/ubuntu/openvpn
I failed to get it set up. They have 24/7 chat tech people, so I
started by saying I had Xubuntu. I knew I was in trouble when we had
the following conversation:
Rep: I'm sorry we do not support your OS.
Me: But your web site says you support Ubuntu.
Rep: Yes, but Ubuntu is a different OS.
I tried the tutorials anyway, but got bogged down because their
screenshots were Unity or something and I didn't have any of the
buttons that their GUI had. So maybe the tech dude had a point.
Anyway, he promised to have their tech team e-mail me within 24 hours
with further instructions. We'll see. And with your vastly superior
knowledge of networking maybe you can make sense of it.
