Many people cancelled their subscriptions.  Most of them
did not have subscriptions.  I subscribed yesterday; $35.

While I am uncomfortable with Scientific American getting
political, I am far more uncomfortable when hateful bigots
attack science and my scientist friends.  PLUG members
have lost their jobs to these attacks.
