We installed a sub-slab radon pump in January, reducing
indoor radon from 7.1 pC/l to 1.3 pC/l. The pump pulls
a LOT of air from underneath the basement slab; much
of it down from the house itself.
That means more air drawn into the house from outside.
Not good, so we TURNED OFF THE PUMP for the duration.
Fortunately, I wired it to a separate circuit breaker,
so I did not need to go outside to switch if off.
