[PLUG-TALK] How to reset username and password on Synology DS220+

I have a Synology DS220+ with two huge WD drives in RAID0. My laptop
and my desktop computer access it with any file manager or other
program, no problem. At one time I had major issues, but someone here
explained to me to set its IP ending in 1/24, so any device on my home
network can access it. I cannot remember where I did that.

That is working as it has for a long time now, but now I have a new
computer, which accesses the router (D-Link DIR-860L B1) via its wifi,
and the router gives it the address 198.162.1.171. This new computer has
no problem accessing my home network and the internet, except when I try
to access the Synology, where it wants my username and password.

I have tried many of the usual usernames and passwords that I use, but
all have failed. I probably have a hundred places where I had to set up
an account, and it is impossible to keep them straight. In the case of
the Synology, I give up. The file manager on the computer I am writing
this on can access it, but I cannot satisfy the Synology OS with its
software so I can get the new computer to access it.

How can I fix this problem?
