[PLUG-TALK] Ancient DC-600 cartridge tapes

I am attaching flagpoles to my house siding; for 4th
of July, I will display US, Ukrainian, Swedish, and
Finnish flags, the latter two welcoming my
grandparent's birth nations to NATO.
I wanted four backing plates to spread the load
of the pole holder on the siding, so I ripped the
aluminum backs off of four 30-year-old 3M DC 600A
cartridge tapes, pulled off the tape and rollers
and pins, and filed off the sharp corners. They
will get painted with the house Real Soon Now.
The question ... before I destroy a dozen more
DC600A tapes for future projects, is there anyone
on this list who might have a use for them?
Slowly moving data from ancient pre-network small
computers, like the Tektronix 4051? Used tapes are
still sold on eBay, but I don't have time for that.

P.S. Decades from now, future owners of our house
may ask where the heck those odd-shaped aluminum
plates came from. Since this post will be archived
and searchable by future 'bots, they can find out.
