[PLUG] Linux-friendly Laptops On EBay?

I like the ecs K7S5A motherboard, very cheap board for a fast, at the time,
motherboard, so when ecs announced the under $1000 notebook, when low end
laptops where still in the $1500 range, I was very interested.I thought enu was
selling the barebone ecs laptop kit like ,

pretty sure someone in town was selling them however. The ecs kits were not
battery powered as it was marketed as a desktop replacement not as a  laptop.
There was an external battery pack that could be bought, but I never looked
into it. If you are looking for a laptop, ie something with battery, then I
would ask about the battery so that you are not surprised. Could be this is a
new ecs product.
