That's probably not the best idea.  I would recommend making one
machine the designated log collector and set it up to allow log
entries from all your NFS hosts, and set your NFS hosts to send log
entries to your log collector.  syslogd is network capable and is
usually fairly light on bandwidth.

Though if you *really* don't want to log, why not uninstall syslog?
