[PLUG] Running IMAP server on port >1024?

I have an account on a remote box that I SSH into to check mail.  This
remote box does not have IMAP or POP available and all incoming ports
except 22, 25, and 80 are blocked.  So I'd like to setup an IMAP server to
run on a port >1024 and have a webmail package, such as SquirrelMail,
retrieve the mail for me for the times when I can't SSH in.  The remote
box runs Sendmail, so I don't think I can use the Courier IMAP server.  I
haven't had any luck so far configuring uw-imap to run on a higher port
either.  I modifed the source code to use port 1143, but I couldn't get
the server to start.  Any suggestions?
