You know, I just had a fabulous, and only slightly unethical business
idea. 

Everybody on the list who's unemployed and has a clue or three, we get
together and form a Linux Migration Consultancy. We offer to do free
consultations on the cost of a BSA-sponsored audit for your company. We
offer to help you transition to fully open source so that you no longer
need to worry about such a thing. And we offer support contracts.

What makes us different from the competition? Well, the BSA takes
anonymous tipoffs.

You may have heard, recently, a guitar-string making company was
hostiley audited by the BSA and the owner chose to change to Linux in
response to how he was treated, and says he has saved a huge amount of
money and that he has not had to make one support call.

I'm not actually serious about the unethical, but I wonder if we
couldn't make a consultancy out of all the unemployed tech-heads we've
got on this list. Anybody want to bite?
