Those thoughts never even cross my mind when I'm in geeky, yet mixed,
company.  Probably because I went to the geek academy at Merlo Station
and got used to the mix.  

And to remove any mystery, your odds of getting a date with a geek
girl seem to be dramatically lower at an all-geek high school: While I
was attending, it averaged 115 students, only 8 ladies.  Two were more
interested in computers than dating, two who were going out with each
other, and the rest going steady, mostly with guys from other high
schools.  It was literally easier to get a date with a lady at a Boy
Scout camp (my first girlfriend I met when we were both working at
Camp Ireland just north of Hillsboro, she was an Explorer Scout with
Post 415 Hillsboro).
