[PLUG] mandrake

hi,

I know there are at least a couple of you out there using Mandrake. I
remember its startup as being very pretty and being very easy to see
when something fails because of the little green [OK] and red [FAILED]
messages. And I'm trying to do that myself on my debian distribution,
because while Debian is great, it's not always pretty.

So, if you're a mandrake user and know which script under /etc has
control over running other scripts and determining if they work, could
you send me that script? Otherwise, could you send me /etc/inittab and
the rc script, which in Debian is under /etc/init.d/rc but is probably
elsewhere on Mandrake? I can track down the chain of command from those
two. I spent some time on the web, but found little.
